Sadepäivinä pukeudun yleensä tummiin sävyihin. Olisin mielelläni se iloinen väripilkku, joka uhmaa harmautta väreillä, mutta käytännön syistä sadeasut lähtevät nyt syyskaudella useimmiten näistä nilkkureista ja tuosta nahkatakista. Mokkakenkiä ja -takkeja kun en uskalla altistaa sateelle... Tarvitsisin kyllä ehdottomasti mustat korkeakorkoiset nilkkurit, en meinaan ole vieläkään ihan varauksettoman ihastunut tähän pistol-henkiseen malliin. Näin tummien ja kapeiden farkkujen kanssa se vielä toimii, mutta esimerkiksi khakinväristen kanssa katkaisee jalan linjan juuri väärältä kohtaa ja yhdistettynä mataliin korkoihin, saa jalat näyttämään onnettoman lyhyiltä. Mutta miten vaikeaa voikaan olla löytää siroja, korkeakorkoisia nahkanilkkureita? Ei niin etteivätkö ne olisi olleet jo useamman vuoden ostoslistalla, huoh...
Mutta nyt eksyin jo aiheesta eli asusta! Niin, onneksi väri ei ole ainoa tapa piristää ilmettä, tähän asuun lisämaustetta toi pieni bling. Onkohan svetarit jo tänä syksynä ihan out? En tiedä, mutta tykkään hirmuisesti tästä kirjaillusta svetarista, jonka viime vuonna "sorruin" ostamaan epäilyksistäni huolimatta. Mukava se ainakin on ja mahtuupa alle toinen paitakin lämmittämään. Sitäkään en osaa sanoa, että paljonko blingiä yhdessä asussa on liikaa, mutta otinpa nyt matkaan vielä ASOSin strassein koristellun laukun, vihreä ja hillitty violetti sopivat mielestäni niin kivasti yhteen.
Nyt sitten nauttimaan perjantai-illasta! Sateen lisäksi myös myrskyssä on oma tunnelmansa ja mikäli se luvattu myrsky sieltä saapuu, niin mikäs sen mukavampaa kuin lymyillä kotona lämpimässä kuunnellen tuulen ulvontaa? Mukavaa iltaa ja viikonloppua teillekin!
On a rainy day, I usually dress in dark shades. I would absolutely love to be that fun pop of color, who fights the gloominess with brights, but for practical reasons I usually end up with these boots and this jacket. I'm just too much of a wuss to wear suede shoes or jackets in the rain... I actually really need a pair of black, high heeled ankle boots, cause I'm still on a fence whether I actually like the 'pistol' style or not. They go very well with these dark skinnies, but when paired with for example my khaki jeans, they do break the line of the leg, so that combined with the low heel, they make my legs look somewhat short and stubby. But how hard can it be to find a feminine, high heeled pair of leather ankle boots? It's not like I haven't had them on my wishlist for several years already...
I kinda steered off topic now, so let's get back to this outfit! Luckily color isn't the only way to spice things up, cause there's always bling! Are sweatshirts out already? I'm not sure, but I really like this embellished sweatshirt that I finally gave into despite my doubts. It's so comfy and easily fits another top underneath for that much needed extra warmth. Another thing I'm not sure about is how much bling is too much in one outfit? But still I decided to go for my embellished ASOS bag, I the emerald rhinestones are so pretty with this greyish purple.
Now I'm off to enjoy a quiet Friday night. There's a storm predicted and it honestly doesn't get much better than getting cozy at home when it's storming outside, I get all warm just thinking about it! I hope you have a lovely Friday night as well, wish you a great weekend too!
